A legal professional based in Los Angeles, Lloyd Segal has served as the president of the Los Angeles Real Estate Investors Club since 2017. Before joining the Los Angeles Real Estate Investors Club, Lloyd Segal spent more than 30 years as an attorney specializing in real estate litigation. He has further experience as a mortgage banker, public speaker, real estate investor, and mentor.
Mr. Segal has authored multiple real estate reference books, including Stop Foreclosure Now in California and Everything You Wanted to Know About Chapter 11 Bankruptcy…but Were Afraid to Ask. More recently, he has written on the topic of flipping real estate properties. He has established a reputation as the nation’s premier house-flipping expert. He has spoken on a variety of real estate topics with prominent news outlets such as National Public Radio, The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, and Smart Money.
Mr. Segal studied law at the Southwestern University School of Law. Before graduating with his juris doctor, he established and chaired the school’s Speakers Program, which attracted many notable scholars to the university, including former United States Supreme Court Judge Tom Clark and attorneys Louis Nizer and Fred Thompson. He holds a business administration degree from Boston University.
